FLECK Softener principle:
FLECK/Pentair fully-automatic water softener is to run water softener and regeneration of each step to realize automatic control, and use time, flow or induction methods to start the regeneration. Usually a FLECK/Pentair fully-automatic water softener cycle consists of the following steps.
1. The operating raw water in a certain pressure, flow and flow through containers of ion exchange resin (softener). Exchangeable Na + in the resin exchanges with cations (Ca2 +, Mg 2 +, Fe2 +... etc.) in the water, to make water Ca2 +, Mg2 + content meet our requirements
2. Backwash After the resin lose efficacy and before the regenerate, backwash with water from bottom to top. Two functions. One is through the backwashing, loose the resin layer impacted in the operating, which is conducive to contact of resin particles and regeneration liquid. The other is to clear the suspended solids which are accumulated in the resin layer and broken resin particle with up flow water, so that the resistance of the switch will not increase.
3. Regeneration Under a certain concentration and flow, regeneration liquid flow through the disabled resin, regenerate it, to restore the original exchange capacity.
4. Displacement After the regeneration flow into the container, there is remainder in the expiation space and resin layer. In order to make full use of the brine and avoid the water connecting with it, the container should be cleaned with flowing water at an equal or slower speed. The purpose is to separate water with regeneration liquid.
5. Washing fast Aim to clean waste regeneration liquid in the resin layer with normally washing flow speed, until the outlet water qualified.
6. Refill water Fill the brine tank with a certain volume water to dissolve regenerated salt.
Operating principle:
FLECK fully-automatic water softener used fixed bed sodium ion exchange softening method. When the fixed bed running, the water flows from the top down and passes the Na+ resin layer , Ca2 + and Mg2 + in the water exchange Na+ in the resin to soften the raw water.  001 x 7 strongly acidic styrene cationic exchange resin is recommended. When Na+ exchange resin lose efficacy, in order to recover soften ability, regenerate with Na+ regenerant. Both down flow regeneration and up flow regeneration, regenerant is commonly used salt (NaCl) solution.
FLECK water softener selection:
M - Flow type: automatic recovery when the preparation of water reach setting point, it is applicable to all the water supply system of soften water preparation. T – Time type: with time as the control regeneration measuring method. It is applicable to stable system for water supply. The shortest reduction regeneration cycle is 24 hours.
Alternative equipment combination
⑴- single control single bed: to stop water supply for 2 hours or continue supplying raw water (hard water bypass) during reduction.
⑵- Single control double bed: to supply water alternately, one for use, the other for alternative.
⑶-Double control double bed: to supply water alternately, one for use, the other for alternative.
⑷- Double control double bed: to supply water at the same time, to regenerate alternatively.
⑸- Multi-control bed: more than three resin tank used in parallel is applicable to large scale water supply system.
Note: need to select according to the raw water hardness value. If it is high hardness water (> 8 mmol/L), one grade selection is suggested to be increased; > 12 mmol/ L, it is suggested to adopt soften twice or coordinate with other methods.

FLECK industrial water softener are mainly, 2750, 2850, 3150, 2900, 3900, 900, 0910, 9500 these models, large valves are used in industrial water treatment.
